Exhibition “Writing Peace” by UNESCO

The restoration project of the old village in the Shara Valley, initiated by the villagers themselves, reflects a strong awareness of the importance of preserving ancestral culture. In a rapidly changing world, where many minority cultures are at risk of disappearing, it is essential to recognize, promote, and celebrate these local initiatives.

As part of the project’s official inauguration, a Pantopic conference, accompanied by an exhibition of the “Writing Peace” project, will be organized. This esteemed project was initiated by Professor Eric Cattelain from France, who will be present to mark this special occasion.

The exhibition will then be presented in Leh, reaching a wider audience that includes both local residents and international visitors. It invites visitors to reflect on the role of writing, dialogue, and cultural exchange in fostering mutual understanding and building lasting peace among communities and nations.
